Are you still troubled by the problem of tin slag adhesion?
Due to the long-term test contact with the solder ball, the solder slag adheres to the needle, resulting in poor contact between the probe and the IC, resulting in a drop in the test yield!
Bursten developed the Nanotek Brush, which can effectively remove residual solder slag without taking out the probe, making it more convenient and efficient to use on the production line.
A reliable contact cleaning product, especially to clean fine pitch contacts or semiconductor test sockets, is the Nanotek Brush from our japanese partner KITA. The Nanotek Brushes, with their up to 12000 finest bristles made of stainless steel or brass, remove dust or solder residues effectively without harming or damaging the contact’s gold or nickel layers.
Nanotek Brush’s unique built-in spring equalizes pressure design, so you don’t have to worry about probe damage caused by excessive force during cleaning.
Bursten has designed a brush line which offers technical cleaning brushes for your specific needs, whether you are cleaning sensitive optics or scrubbing heavy soils. The bristle cut is designed to offer optimum cleaning with minimum effort. The quality natural bristle materials selected are thoroughly cleaned prior to manufacturing. TechBrush handles are designed for a comfortable fit, while offering a variety of handle materials, including anodised aluminium, stainless steel and wood. The TechBrush manufacturing process insures a durable long-lasting brush which will suit your specific needs.
Tips for Selecting the Right Technical Cleaning Brushes
- Identify type of soil to be removed
The wide selection of bristle materials will accommodate a variety of cleaning needs. Natural hair bristles are suitable for lighter soils (see the General Cleaning section), while the stiffer metal bristles are most effective against heavier solids. - Identify type of cleaning surface
Sensitive surfaces should be cleaned with soft, natural hair bristles (see the Technical Cleaning section). Stainless steel and brass bristles are best suited for abrasion-resistant surfaces . - Assess size of cleaning area
Our Technical Cleaning brushes are required when cleaning small crevices and hard-to-reach spaces. For big jobs and surface cleaning, we offer a variety of large, general cleaning brushes.
