The round type of brush is meant to clean the inside of pipes/tubes, not flat or larger surfaces. When collet it properly tightened,it should be used with either a hand drill or die grinder in order to stay secure.
It is a standard shank for 6mm mounted brush for all brands; this brush doesn’t need a hex shank.
